Now that March is here, I feel like the sun is shining a little bit brighter knowing that spring is JUST around the corner! Who’s with me? With floral prints and brighter colors everywhere and the warmer weather on its way, I’m definitely thinking spring. The new season is the best time to prepare for the rest of the year ahead. So, here are 3 ways to spring clean your skin:
Show brushes some love
Ok, be honest, when was the last time you deep-cleaned your makeup brushes? Sooo much icky bacteria and grime can settle in those bristles, so now is the best time to cleanse it all away! Prep your brushes with a brush cleaner so your skin will be clean and ready for spring. Keep this habit up at least twice per month to keep your brushes – and your skin – in their best. shape. ever.
Out with the old
I know I’m one who has a hard time letting go of that last bit of mascara in the tube…but spring cleaning your makeup will save your skin, too! There’s a reason each container has that tiny symbol on the bottom – to show the expiration date. Look closely at each of your products to make sure you aren’t keeping old items that are old and potentially full of bacteria – yuck! Plus, having extra room in that drawer gives you another reason to buy more makeup, right?! 😉
Get back your glow
While you should’ve been exfoliating throughout the winter, too (oops), spring is just the right time to get back in the habit! Getting rid of dead skin cells after the dry, flaky winter season is SO important. Even the driest of skin is no match for exfoliation 2 times a week, and I LOVE Enza’s Fine Facial Polish.
[Plus it’s on sale right now along with the Extraction Enzyme Peel and Saturation Aloe Scrub!]
