CURE YOUR COMPLEXION

If you indulged in one too many green beers yesterday during your St. Patty’s Day celebrations, you’re probably not feeling in tip-top shape today, am I right? But that’s okay, it happens to the best of us! Besides chugging Gatorade and getting your hands on something greasy to eat, here’s a few tips to get your skin feeling better in a flash!

Wash your face.

It’s an unwritten rule that you NEED to wash your makeup off every night before bed, but passing out with a full face on every so often won’t kill you, especially after celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. If this happened to you, immediately wash your face the next morning with a gentle cleanser and warm water. Follow up with a toner to remove any excess makeup left behind and balance the pH levels in your skin, getting your complexion back on track.

Give eyes some TLC.

After a late night of catching up with friends, tearing up the dance floor, or making a four course meal at 2 AM, your going to look somewhat like a zombie the next day. Be sure to apply a hydrating cream to the puffy bags under your eyes. Enza Essentials Eyebright Anti-Puffiness Gelee has an amazing cooling effect that instantly helps smooth the appearance of tired, I-was-up-way-too-late-partying eyes.

Hydrate A LOT.

Not only is it essential to drink at least 8 glasses of water after a late night out to refresh your skin back to normal, but you also need to reach for a super hydrating moisturizer too. Alcohol dehydrates skin like nobody’s business, which is why a moisturizer like the Saturation Herbal Creme  is perfect for nourishing skin with it’s vitamins and botanicals, giving you back your glow.

Don’t forget the lips.

Late nights not only dry out your skin but your lips too, especially if you were rocking your favorite red lipstick and you’re paying for the consequences the next morning. Make sure to have a rejuvenating Lip Treatment ready to go – I keep mine on my bedside table so I can easily apply it right before bed every night!

I hope you had a wonderful St. Patty’s Day! -xo Kayla
