SUMMER WEDDING EYE MAKEUP INSPIRATION

Summertime means wedding season. Most people attend more weddings during summer’s three months than they will the entire rest of the year. So if you’re on the guest list for 1 wedding this summer or 10, I have a super simple makeup look that will be sure to look fabulous for the occasion!

WHAT PRODUCTS I’M USING: I not only love Jane Iredale’s mineral face makeup, but her eye makeup too. I’m using Golden Girl Eye Shadow, Jelly Jar Eyeliner in Black, and Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthing Mascara in Black.

WHAT BRUSHES I’M USING: To get this perfect wedding look, I’m using Jane Iredale’s Eye Shader Brush, Crease Brush, and Angle Eyeliner Brush.

Step 1: Apply base.

I use the Eye Shader Brush to apply the lightest shade in the trio right under my brow bones. This gives my eyes some highlights. Then, using the same brush, I sweep the golden shade onto my eyelids and up to just under my brow bones. So far so good, right?

Step 2: Apply crease.

While using the Crease Brush, I apply the darkest shade to the outside corner of my eyelid and along the crease. I blend it all together for a more natural look.

Step 3: Eyeliner.

This is my favorite step! After dipping the Angle Eyeliner Brush into the Jelly Jar gel, I swipe a subtle line into my lash line.

TIP: For a more dramatic look, draw a thicker, winged line on your lashes.

Step 4: Finish with mascara.

In my opinion, an eyelash curler can be a girl’s best friend. I always curl my lashes before applying mascara, especially in the morning so I look more awake. Then, I swipe on Longest Lash Mascara, let it dry, then apply a second coat.

Voila! All finished and ready for the wedding! And it couldn’t have been any easier to create this look. What’s your go-to summer wedding makeup? -xo Kayla
